(2)四方投げ運動・前後・左前、右前

and swing your hands down ("cut with your hand blade")
(you should now be in Left Hanmi)
- Repeat the above two steps several times.
- Then repeat the process starting with Right Hanmi.
(3)四方投げ運動・四方・左前、右前
Shiho-nage Undo (in four directions)
- Start in Left Hanmi, facing North
- Do the front (raise blade) => back (lower/cut with blade) in the North-South direction
i.e., step your right foot North then tenkan to South
(your left foot should be in front of you, and you are facing South)
- Do the Undo steps in the South-North direction
i.e., step your right foot South then tenkan to North
(your left foot should be in front of you, and you are facing North)
- Then step your right foot 270 degrees to the left and do the Undo in the West-East direction
i.e., step your right foot West then tenkan to East
(your left foot should be in front of you, and you are facing East)
- Do the Undo steps in the East-West direction
i.e., step your right foot East then tenkan to West
(your left foot should be in front of you, and you are facing West)
- Repeat the pattern of
alternating your right foot stepping either straight forward, or 270 degrees to the left.
- Then repeat the whole process starting with Right Hanmi, facing North.
your left foot will be stepping either straight forward, or 270 degrees to the right,
you will be facing N-S, S-N, then E-W, W-E.
(4)相半身片手取り・四方投げ・表(静止状態から)・左前、右前(フィン)
1. Form (Ai-hanmi Katate-dori) Shiho-nage, Omote ("front"), static beginning and end
- Start in Right Hanmi
- The Uke (the partner who takes the Technique) offers his right hand with "hand blade" down
- grab the Uke's right hand with your right hand, from the bottom (right thumb pointing to Uke)
- turn your wrist so your right thumb is now pointing down
while continually stretching out Uke's right arm
as your right arm stretches out to the right (and stretches out the Uke)
- grab the Uke's right hand (around the wrist) with your left hand as well
(your arms should form a circle)
as you step through under the Uke's right arm with your left foot
- do a Tenkan (turn hips so now your right foot is forward),
continue stretching the Uke's right arm,
your arms should be comfortably stretched as well
(you are now facing the same direction as your Uke, while stretching the Uke out).
* the Uke should have his/her left arm behind, and stretched out so that both arms form a line
as he/she is being stretched.
(5)相半身片手取り・四方投げ・表(転換で受ける)・左前、右前(ペレ)
1. Form (Ai-hanmi Katate-dori) Shiho-nage, Omote ("front"), dynamic beginning and end
- Start in Right Hanmi
- offer your right hand to the Uke, palms up
- as the Uke grabs your right hand with his right hand, Tenkan (turn hips so your left foot is front)
then step back with your left foot
(your chest (and hence left arm also) should be open as you turn the Tenkan,
always keep the Uke in front of you as you swing/lead the Uke during the Tenkan,
both you and the Uke has swapped direction at this point)
- turn your wrist so your right palm is now pointing down,
grab the Uke's right wrist (this grab performs the final Shiho-nage)
as your right arm stretches out to the right (and stretches out the Uke)
- grab the Uke's right hand (around the fingers) with your left hand as well
(your arms should form a circle while holding Uke's right hand)
as you step through under the Uke's right arm with your left leg (this makes it "Omote")
- do a Tenkan (turn hips so now your right foot is forward)
as you fold the Uke's right arm such that the hand is at Uke's right shoulder
(your arms should be comfortably stretched out in front of you)
- Keeping your arms stretched, slide your right foot forward and throw your Uke (Shiho-nage)
(6)逆半身片手取り・四方投げ・表・左前、右前(メガネのおっさん)
2. Form (Gyaku-hanmi Katate-dori) Shiho-nage, Omote

always keeping the Uke in front of you as you swing/lead the Uke,
keep your chest (and left arm) open as you turn the Tenkan, body upright
(at this point the direction of you and Uke have swapped)
- grab the Uke's left wrist with your left (this grab performs the final Shiho-nage)
turn your left wrist so the thumb points down and stretch your left arm out to the left
as you step through under Uke's left arm with your right leg (this makes it "Omote")
- do a Tenkan (turn hips so now your left foot is forward)
as you fold the Uke's left arm such that the Uke's hand is at the Uke's left shoulder
(your arms should be comfortably stretched out in front of you)

5. Form (Shomen-uchi) Shiho-nage, Omote
- Start in Right Hanmi
- the Uke moves forward to strike, and raises his right arm
- {small step left?} as you simultaneously raise your right arm under Uke's right arm
(the two arms should not be in direct conflict, but your arm should slide upward under Uke's arm
both Uke's and your right arms are now pointing up)
- your left arm, crossed over your right arm, then takes over Uke's right hand from your right side
and cuts down Uke's right arm in a half-circle to your left
as your right arm now cuts Uke's neck-to-chest diagonally from top-right to bottom-left
(there should be sufficient distance between you and Uke, slightly shorter than an arm's length)
- your left and right hand meet at the bottom with Uke's right hand in between
- grab Uke's right wrist with your right hand (this grab performs the final Shiho-nage) and left hand

- step under Uke's right arm with your left leg (this makes it "Omote")
